Hi! I’m Vicki. I’m a founding machine learning engineer at a startup working on recsys/personalization/information retrieval.

Previously, I worked on LLMs and LLM infra at Mozilla.ai, and on ML and recsys at Duo, Tumblr, Automattic, and Comcast. My interests in machine learning include Recsys search, MLOps and production, and distributed systems.

I like to hack on information retrieval systems. I built Viberary, which recommended you books based on vibe. I like reverse-engineering neural nets. I wrote a paper about what embeddings are. Embeddings Approaches DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.8015029
